The day began at 4:15am with normal preparations for a day on the bike… The difference this morning is that today’s ride starts a 15 day journey to the Pacific Northwest.

Our crew from New Orleans consists of three BMW riders and one Harley Davidson holdout. We danced around the raindrops like Fred Astaire and had very little traffic through Baton Rouge. We met our trip planer in Port Allen, LA as left from Orlando on Wednesday to join us. He two has yet to see the light… (Lol)

Our route took us along hwy190 to I-49N to Shreveport where we picked up I-20 just past Tyler Texas. After a quick lunch at Cracker Barrel, we were
back on the road heading north of Dallas through McKinney Texas to Denton. We made a quick visit to Oklahoma and then set our sights on Childress Texas. 20140626-221548-80148823.jpg
